# Fokuus API and MCP server for developers and AI agents

Read Fokuus services, published prices and website content through a free public REST API, an MCP server or Markdown, without an account.

No API key, registration or OAuth is required. The API is read-only and never sends messages.

Not a fit for an instant purchase or self-service signup: every project starts with a conversation and a tailored price. Customer data and reports are not part of this API.

## How to call Fokuus

- MCP: connect an MCP client using Streamable HTTP at `https://fokuus.be/mcp`. Tools: get_organization, list_services, get_pricing, search_pages and get_page. In Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http fokuus https://fokuus.be/mcp`.
- Markdown: every page is also available as Markdown. Append `.md` to the URL or send `Accept: text/markdown`.
- Instructions: [agents.md](https://fokuus.be/agents.md)  and [llms.txt](https://fokuus.be/llms.txt)  summarise when and how an agent should use Fokuus.

Cite the original page. Enquiries and purchases require the user’s decision.

## Limits and versions

Up to 120 requests per 60 seconds per IP address, advertised in the `RateLimit-Policy` header. On a 429, wait for the number of seconds in `Retry-After`. REST API v1 is stable; read the [versioning and deprecation policy](https://fokuus.be/en/docs/versioning/) .

## Try safely

All endpoints are read-only. Testing does not change customer data, start scans or send email. There is no separate sandbox.
